Sofive at the USC Convention 2020

Having five state-of-the-art soccer centers across the Northeast and two in Maryland, Sofive joined this year's USC Convention in Baltimore with its own booth. Billed as "The World's Largest Annual Gathering of Soccer Coaches and Administrators", the United Soccer Coaches Convention and US Youth Soccer Workshop draws more than 6,300 coaches and more than 14,000 attendees. Over five days, there are more than 250 educational opportunities consisting of live field demonstrations, classroom sessions, social gatherings, award presentations, coaching diplomas and more!

Christmas Games You Could Play At Sofive With The Kids To Improve Their Skill!

Now that the winter season is in full swing, all the athletes are indoors and doing their best to not only keep their performance levels up, but also grow and improve. Here are a few fun games to play at Sofive that will keep them on their toes and sharpen some technical abilities. 
Snowman Tag Soccer

This is a variation of a the schoolyard game, freeze tag. Most of us remember the game from our youth where the tagged person is frozen in place until an unfrozen player comes to release them. You probably never thought to play it with soccer balls, though.

Did you Know that The USSF Conducts Coaching courses at Sofive?

Sofive & the USSF came together for the community to host coaching courses for grassroots initiatives, beginning with the 4v4 licensing course. If you weren't able to attend, you missed a phenomenal opportunity to engage with some of the key figures spearheading the USSF's initiative to drive up passion for the sport and prepare the next generation of American athletes.

The USSF utilized Sofive Brooklyn's state-of-the-art facilities to conduct their course, which aimed to help instill leadership while coaching fun, realistic scenarios players would encounter in a real game. The session was lead by Gerard Jones, who holds the England FA UEFA A Licence and FA Advanced Youth Award (12–16) alongside a Master's degree in Performance Coaching.
